You will receive this e-mail because the storage capacity for your e-mail account is about to get full, i.e. if you don’t delete e-mails from the server, you risk not being able to receive e-mails until you have access to more storage space.
This can be archived in two ways:
- You can delete e-mails on our server to free storage space. The text below will tell you how to do this.
- You can order storage space from us (see below for prices).
Prices for more storage space:
100MB extra storage: 200 kroner a year
200MB extra storage: 300 kroner a year
500MB extra storage: 600 kroner a year
1000MB extra storage: 900 kroner a year
Order more storage space here.
If you want to delete e-mails, see information on this in this e-mail.
The storage capacity doesn’t include e-mails stored on your computer, that you have access to by using the usual e-mails programs (for example Microsoft Outlook, Windows Mail or Mail on Mac).
You don’t have to delete e-mails stored in such a programme, only e-mails stored on our server.
You can do this by:
- Logging onto your webmail: webmail.domenia.no
- Checking the box next to the e-mail your want to delete.
- Press “Delete”
- Press “Check e-mail” on the left hand side, and the e-mail will show in the folder “Trash”.
- To empty “Trash”, press the link (Empty trash) Now your e-mail have been deleted.
The reason why the e-mails in your e-mail account is still stored on our server, could be because:
- You only use webmail.
- You have checked in your e-mail programme that it should be made a copy of received e-mails on our server.
To make changes to the set up which leaves e-mails on our servers after you have downloaded them in Outlook or Windows mail, do this:
- Choose the menu Tools -> Accounts.
- Mark the e-mail account you want to be accessible and press Preferences
- Press Advanced (the last option in the window shown).
- Remove the checked box by leave a copy of messages on server
- Press OK to close the window and Close to close the next.
REMEMBER – in webmail:
- You should always empty the folder “Trash” before an e-mail is deleted.
- Heavy e-mails may also be taking up a lot of space in other folders than INBOX, for example in the folder “Drafts” or “Sent”.
