When we receive material form a customer, the quality of the material will to a great extent decide the layout of the webpage. Here is a list of what formats we can receive material in, and which ones are preferable in order to get the best quality.
Pictures:
| 1. Vectorized formats | .AI, .PDF og .EPS | |
| 2. Bitmaps | .PSD, .TIFF og .BMP | |
| 3. Picture formats for web | .JPG og .GIF | |
| 4. Pictures in Word etc | ||
| 5. Brochures for scanning | ||
| 6. Letters e.l for scanning | ||
| 7. Fax for scanning |
Except from the first alternative it is almost never possible to enlarge pictures without reducing the quality.
Text:
| 1. Text documents form digital text programmes (for example Word and Excel) | .DOC og .XLS | |
| 2. Documents form sheets that haven’t been faxed | ||
| 3. Faxed documents |
If text documents aren’t received digitally, they will have to be written manually. This increases the chances of misspellings.
